Practical instructions showing how to transform even the most difficult daily life experiences into opportunities for spiritual growth through developing and enhancing minds of universal love and compassion.
The heart of Buddha’s teachings is unconditional love and compassion. In this inspiring explanation of the popular Buddhist poem Training the Mind in Seven Points, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso reveals powerful and far-reaching methods for us to develop these altruistic states. Ancient meditative techniques that have been tried and tested for centuries are brought alive and made relevant to our everyday experiences. Also included is a practical explanation of how we can transform our day-to-day problems—even the most demanding and difficult conditions—into opportunities for personal and spiritual development. By pointing the way to an unchanging freedom and happiness, this immensely readable book challenges us to grow, and will have a remarkable impact on our life.
In general, one may enroll at any time, and you may try two classes before enrolling. Particular class days are more conducive as 'trial days' so please contact us for a good day to come. If you decide to join us you can enroll right after the second trial class.

Why do we need a study program?
Buddhism teaches that to find lasting happiness and meaning in our lives we need to follow a spiritual path.
To follow this path it is important to have a qualified teacher who can offer us advice and encouragement and give us pure Dharma teachings. It is also important to have a strong spiritual community who provide good conditions for our practice.
These conditions help us penetrate more deeply into the meaning of Buddha’s teachings, engage in sincere and regular study, and maintain a daily meditation practice that is both focused and powerful.
Through regular teachings and meditation, along with systematic study and discussion, the Foundation Program offers spiritual support. In essence it is the same training followed by spiritual practitioners in an unbroken lineage dating back to Buddha himself.
Its special quality is that we can gain authentic experience within the context of our modern lifestyle. By studying on this program we will gain great confidence in the methods for transforming the mind – from basic techniques for overcoming our everyday problems to practices leading to unsurpassed happiness and permanent inner peace.
Foundation program is also available by correspondence for those who cannot attend in person due to distance or other reasons.
